Born in Birmingham, Michigan, Christine grew up with a surgeon father and a nurse mother, so it only makes sense that Christine would later step into the medical field, even if her version of that field is fictional. Christine studied Fine Arts at Florida State University and later earned her bachelor’s degree in Drama from the University of Michigan. Then Christine packed up and headed to the Big Apple, where she studied acting at HB Studio and completed a two year professional actor training program at the William Esper Studio. Once she made her way to the big screen, Christine found her niche. The lanky, curly-maned redhead’s mature but smoldering sexuality is well situated for roles that require an exquisite bedside manner. Her first foray into the hospital ward was in The Henderson Monster (1980), followed by Whose Life is it Anyway? (1981), Gross Anatomy (1989), and The Four Diamonds (1995). These M.D.-themed movies were followed by a four-year stint as Dr. Kate Austin on Chicago Hope (1995). In Just Between Friends (1986), Christine can be seen in her panties, and it’s a sight that’s sure to raise your temperature. Christine also flashes some crack in The Steps (2016) when her character’s porn star past is revealed. Sadly, we don’t see Christine’s face in the shot, so that booty likely belongs to a body double. We hope that Dr. Lahti gives us some more so we can soothe the ache in our pants!
